A Bahamas Vacation

The Bahamas are the most northerly of the Caribbean Islands and are the closest to the Florida coastline. The Bahamas are actually made up of hundreds of islands from tiny deserted sandy beaches to larger modern vacation resorts. Regular Cruise Line stops have resulted in Shopping Malls, Casino's and Restaurants galore on the larger more developed islands such as New Providence Island and Grand Bahama.

The other Islands in the Bahamas include the Exumas, Andros, Cat Island, Long Island, San Salvador, Bimini, Berry Islands, Abaco, Eleuthera, Rum cay, Crooked Island, Mayaguana, Inagua and Acklins. This is only some of the 700 islands that make up the Bahamas.
