The Dominican Republic sits in the middle of the Caribbean occupying two thirds of the island of Hispaniola, the remaining third of the island is Haiti.

The Dominican Republic boasts beautiful beaches along with sprawling colonial towns. There is something for everyone here. At one time the Dominican Republic was known only for its all inclusive resort complexes but now tourism is reaching all parts of this country with inland golf courses and adventure holidays including mountain biking, white water rafting and horse riding. It is now much easier to explore the island for yourself by hiring a car or even by using the good public transport facilities.
